Diving and Sports

Boracay is full of activities to do for the more active from walking and wildlife spotting to water sports such kite boarding windsurfing sailing and quality diving.

Horse riding at the stables

Take a horse ride around the island and down on the beaches, a lovely way to get around and see parts of the island.

Golf Course

Boracay has a very impressive international golf course designed by a world-famous golfer.

Sea Rides

Novelty rides such as Parascending, Sausage, flying fish are great for the kids and funsters at reasonable prices.

Jet skis

Many are available to rent and are a great way to get the adrenaline flowing with good swells or flat speed patches. Jet ski operators on white beach operate from floating islands further out to sea for the safety of swimmers and to keep the noise away from the beach.

Windsurfing and Kite boarding

Many centres for this mostly on the Bulabog side of the island most of the year, but when the wind changes direction these sports move over to the white beach side around June until October. There are many schools catering for all levels of professionalism or beginners.

Dragon Boat Racing

It is really a sport to watch, but sometimes tourists find themselves getting involved and taking part it's a great event and not to be missed once its on.

Fishing

Fishing near the island not a prayer of success, although you can hire boats to take you to deep water or out long distance for some Big Fishing!

Note: spear gunning is illegal for the protection of fish stock around the island, but a boat can be hired to take you to other areas for this sport.
